Highlights of our little Summer so far!!!

Well it seems like yesterday school got out for summer and now we are half way over. We haven't had a too exciting summer as Mason would tell you, but we've been busy with well just stuff. Stuff like swim lessons, camps, a few short trips (none with the kids). I guess that's why Mason thinks his summer hasn't been too exciting. We still got time though... A few pictures of the past few months. My camera wasn't working so I don't have too many.

First I have to share cute little T's preschool party. I can't believe this will be his last year of preschool. This time next year I will have a little kindergartner. Oh how time flys!!!

My weekend getaway with some AMAZING friends in Colorado. Oh how I miss my girls...

Lo's first pedicure while the boys were on Father and Sons Campout.

Swim lessons!!! T and L really needed to learn how to swim and they did well. Although T still likes to use floaties. These two really are little fish though. They would go to the pool everyday if they could and stay there for hours.

C3

Well it finally happened! He finished his car although he said it still needs some work done, but it's been in it's first car show now and he even took me out on hot date in it. It's Dustin's new baby and he just loves it. I am so glad he got it running and looking Awesome. I am so proud of him, but now he wants to get another car and fix it up.. I on the other hand would like to sell it.. Just kidding, but I don't want anymore cars. 2007
2011 only 3 1/2 short years :) Sonic car show with the boys. Highlight of all of their lives. Like father like sons. They all love Corvettes even Talan can tell the difference between them. Although the other day he said "Dad I like Mustangs better".

The Week of Birthdays

My Talan turned 4 yrs old on April 8th. He was so excited to turn 4 he just wants to be big and he says when you're 4 you are. We celebrated his birthday that night by going to see HOP. This sweet little guy was born on Easter Sunday. He has added so much excitemant to our lives. He is full of energy and being the 3rd boy wants to be so much like his big brothers. He even got a DSi for his birthday just like Mason did.
Since Talan turned 4 (an even number) he got to have a big kid party. We had his preschool class come over after preschool one day and played games, ate chicken nuggets, fries and cupcakes.
This was the cake walk game

Dustin decorated the cupcakes and yes he was proud of his work. :)
Mason's birthday was April 5th. He woke up that morning had his typical breakfast in bed (pancakes). It was a school day, so we took him out for lunch. He chose Taco Bell to eat at. That night we went to Joe's Farm Grill for dinner and then went and got Yogurt. I can't believe my sweet son is 9 yrs old now. His is such a joy to have in our lives. He is so kind and caring and always thinking of others. He always wants to do the right thing and is very responsible. We are so lucky to have him. We love you Mason man!!!
He didn't have a family party or kid party this year, but instead had a few friends over to celebrate they just wanted to play video games, jump on the tramp and hang out.

Highlights from our trip to Disneyland

The night before we headed to the parks we checked into our hotel and then went out for pizza. It was a scary place to eat, but you know usually the best food are at the most unusual locations. This was the highlight of the whole trip. After we had pizza we went back to the hotel and on our way Dustin had rolled down the windows. A train went by and scared Lo to death. She buried her head into her hands and just froze. She didn't move until the train was gone and with a big sigh of relief she looked up and said "bye train". We thought oh no she is going to hate the rides. That was the best part though we were all just laughing at her. She is such a GIRL!

Day 1 We woke up that morning to realize it is raining out and I have to say I was not happy. I had that look and Dustin knows it. He said don't be grumpy it will be fun. We get to the park and it wasn't raining at the time just cloudy and gloomy, so we headed to our favorite place Adventureland to ride Indiana Jones and of course Pirates of the Caribbean. The lines were great no one was there because it was yucky outside. We did all the best rides in the 1st four hours and everytime it started to down pour we were either on a ride or under shelter somewhere, so we were so lucky and it was AWESOME!

Talan kills be he is just at that age where he is not to sure about "scary rides". He wouldn't go on Space Mountain or Tower of Terror. He at least went on Thunder Mountain Railroad. I said no kid of mine is going to be afraid of roller coasters. I have loved them for years. He better like them the next time we go. Loree loved all the rides her favorite was the Matterhorn she kept saying she wanted to go on the Yedi ride.

Churros what is Disneyland without Churros and Funnel Cakes, but honestly $3.50 for a Churro. I can get them at Costco for $1 and they are bigger there. Dustin says they are better at Disneyland.. I think he got like 10 while we were there.

We rode the Monterail that day never did that one before. I just Lo's cute face in this picture (so cheesy).

Buzz Lightyear I have to say is one of my favorites

Dustin always kicks our butts on this and gets the best score. I am talking the best score better than anyone else. I don't know how he does it. He likes to joke everytime too "I will give you 50 bucks if you can beat me" nobody ever does.

1st ride of the day Indiana Jones!!

Day 2 was so fun we headed over to California Adventure it was rainy somewhat that day, but not bad at all and the lines were great.

Waiting to go on Toy Story Mania! This was our longest wait, but the best for Talan he loves that ride.

Waiting to go on Toy Story Mania! This was our longest wait, but the best for Talan he loves that ride.

Brody's most favorite ride. He would go on this over and over if he could. Mason likes it too, but it's not his favorite.

Dad took the little one's on the carousel while I was on the California Screamin with the big boys.

Day 3 Sunny and WAY too crowded

We were so spoiled by day 1 and 2 with not having to wait in line that day 3 was just more of a chill day. We did most of our favorites again and then saw a few shows. The trip was so fun though and I am so glad my kids were amazing on the trip we had no meltdowns and no fighting. I felt like here on out Disneyland will always be fun especially because I have no more babies to take care of either.

We went to Mickey's toon town that day.

Went to the Jedi Training show and Brody got picked to be a Jedi. He was so excited the other two didn't want to do it, so they didn't even try. He was so cute fighting Darth Vader he was also the only kid chose to do the push force to the storm troopers.

This is just a recent picture of my two out of four favorite kids.. Loree just loves to put on some music and dance all around the house. Well last week she found herself a dancing partner. These two are so cute together. They truly do love one another.

Suessical the Musical

Mason had his Suessical performance tonight. They celebrated Dr. Suess birthday by having a concert. He really enjoyed all their fun songs and it was so cute. Now play "Where's Waldo" and find him...LoL
Loree on the other hand was not thrilled with Dr. Suess the Principal was dressed up like him and she was scared to death. It was quite funny, she just buried her head and sobbed, she kept saying "Go away" to him.
We are so proud of Brody too. He won't the 1st grade contest for drawing a bookmark to honor Dr. Suess... Go Brody!!

Catching up.... Again

I am finally trying to somewhat update my blog. I am feeling overwhelmed, so I am just putting my favorites from over the last few months. Here are some from Loree's 2nd birthday, Christmas, My grandparents visiting, The Pinewood Derby, The Jog-a-thon, and some dear friends a few days before they moved to Colorado. I promise to be better and set time once a week to take pictures of our lives and record them for our memories. (Now if I put it in writing, I have to do it). Loree and her bestie that moved to Colorado

The boys watching Harry Potter.. Yes, they are too focused on the movie to even look at me.
A black hawk helicopter came to the school for the jog-a-thon and the kids just loved it.

The jog-a-thon with his best bud Easton!

Mason handsome as ever in his cub scout uniform at the Pinewood Derby. He had so much fun making his car.
